It is designed especially to allow the foot to sit lower in the boot so that the sturdy sole gives enhanced grip on root-strewn paths and stony trails. The perfect companion for easier hikes and sporty outdoor trips with a light pack. The Wide Version has a standard heel construction, but is cut wider at the forefoot and ball of the foot to allow more room for a broader forefoot.
